Canterbury was created in 1904 when John Lane, Pringle Walker, and Alfred Rudkin started making woollen clothing in Canterbury, New Zealand. It wasn't long before they were creating army uniforms during World War I and establishing a reputation for providing high-quality, sturdy, and long-lasting equipment. So much so that in 1924, the famed All Blacks sought them to create rugby gear for them to wear. A partnership that lasted nearly 75 years.
